LEGALIZATION OF DRUGS

The issue of drugs is something that worried all of us is like the cancer of humanity, and as in other topics there are advantages and disadvantages that shouldbe analyzed carefully.

This subject we could compare with the alcohol problem that happens during the prohibition in The USA. In those years because of the restriction that hadalcohol many people died. There were a lot of fights to get alcohol, and the mafia and gangsters was in fashion, like Al Capone.
So, today it´s the same there are killings due to the drugsproblems, and now the guerrillas are the modern mafia´s that fight to control the markets drug.
Then, according to several investigations monopoly on drug running out if these werelegal. Because then there would be free supply and demand, like if we were to the supermarket for milk or something like that.

And as a result of drugs legalization the percentage ofarrest for possession would decrease and maybe the criminals too.

But in the other hand we have the most important drawback that we can find on this legalization. The number of consumerscertainly going to increase. If now with all these restrictions that we have are many people who consume drugs. Later going to be easier.

And here is the problem; our society isprepared to face this kind of freedom?
In my opinion we still have too much to learn because if we have the chance to go to the shop to buy some drug, nobody can say that they do not becomeaddicted. The possibility is already, and now could be easier to have addicted people.
Many people say that the government is violating the freedom of choice with this drugsprohibition. However I think that it´s a way to control our own choices because we are not able to control ourselves. It means a biggest responsibility which we are not prepared to take yet.
