Jungle rescue!
While on a business trip in indonesia, David beck left his hotel to go for a walk in the jungle. He tookwith him a bottle of water, some fruit and biscuits, and a mobile phone, but hedidn't have a map or a compass.

He walked along a path for three hours,following singposts to a local beaty spot. After a short rest there, he decided to return to the hotel.but after a while herealized that he was lost. He couldn't find a village. When it got dark,he crawled under some bushes by the side of the river and slept.

David was scared,exhausted and lonely, so he called hiswife at their home in London. She then rang the police in Indonesia, who sarted a huge search-and-rescue mison. They rang David but had no idea where he was. For five days david wandered through thejungle.

One moring he saw a helicopter, but it and didn't see him. He stayed close to the river, Eventually, a police officer feard him and led him out of the jungle.'I'd like to go trekking in thejungle again,'said David.'But next time I'll go with a guide.
