LOBOS
For thousands of years, gray wolves have lived Europe, Asia and North America from the Arctic to Central Mexico. They were once the most common land mammal after man. Now, however, most wolves have destroyed by man, and their species is in danger of extinction.
Wolf families are organized in packs for efficient hunting. Members of the pack areaffectionate with each other and loyal to the group.
Wolves usually kill other wild animals, but when there are not enough of these, the wolves attack domestic animals like cows and sheep. Farmers want to protect their animals from the wolves, while ecologists want to save the wolves. It seems clear that wolves must be protected, or they will disappear from the earth forever.

MESERA

Maudgot a job as a waitress in LaPorte. People were surprised that a smart girl who had been to the university must work in a café. They expected that kind of girl to have more ambition. But Maud was shy and quiet; she suited the café just fine.
Maud’s boss, Sadie owned the café. Sadie was usually angry with her teen-age son, Joe. Sadie wanted Joe to do all kinds of work at home while she ranthe café. When Joe came in to eat, Sadie would ask, have you washed the dishes? Is the washing done?” Joe hated that.
When Joe came in to eat, looking unhappy, Maud served his plate carefully. She put extra French fries beside his hamburger and added vanilla to his milkshake.
