The castanyada is a popular festival in Catalonia celebrated on All Saints' Day, but has recently moved to the celebration on the eve of this day.
As Halloween Anglo-Saxon countries, the oldcastanyada comes from a Catalan ritual funeral feast.
USUAL FOOD
It consists of a meal when they eat nuts, marzipan, sweet potatoes and candied fruit. The typical drink of the 'chestnut' is the muscat.Around this celebration, chestnuts roasted chestnuts sold on the street and hot and usually wrapped in newspaper
