Mercedes Benz is a German company that produces luxury vehicles. It is a result from the merger of two previous car companies, DMG (Daimler-Motored-Gesellschaft, founded by GottliebDaimler) and Benz & Cie, founded by Karl Benz. Such car companies felt complied to merge after World War I, when the German economy was crushed. Many companies where closing down when both companiesdecided to unite forces to prevail.
At first they formed a syndicate around 1924 and this step lead to the next, which of course was the merger of such companies into the nowadays well known nameMercedez Benz. The new combined company was born in 1926. Since the beginning, Mercedez Benz has maintained a reputation for the quality and durability of its products.
