Ms. Michelle Escalón went to the local hospital complaining about a lot of pain on her chest, her head and her heart. She was submitted to a lot of diagnoses but none ofthem we could find any cause for the pains and then was sent to a clinical hospital and was referred to me.
I asked her what symptoms she felt on a scale of not at all, a little and a lot suspecting shemight suffer from the Somatoform Disorder.
She answered she had been suffering a lot from more than three symptoms I had asked her without giving any adequate medical explanation. She denied havingany symptoms of anxiety or depression. She then was diagnosed with Somatoform Disorder.
