The currency of Singapore is the Singapore dollar. It has a population of 4,608,000 inhabitants, cities do not have as it is a pyas-state and its capital is Singapore.
Tourist activities in Singapore are mostly museum visits, zoological, theaters, Tours, and the evening shows.
Has a variety of luxurious and beautiful hotel very passages.
Singapore has four officiallanguages: English, Chinese , Malay and Tamil.

CULTURE
Culture and religion are intertwined in Singapore so much stronger than in the West. Throughout the year, on the streets and temples of the city are held many festivals and celebrations that reflect the diverse beliefs and backgrounds of this multicultural society composed of Buddhists, Taoists, Muslims, Hindus, Christians and Sikhs.
Anicon of the performing arts scene in Singapore is the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, a massive, innovative performance ending in 2005. Located right next to Marina Square, the space has 2,000 seats and has quickly become the home of world-class performances Singapore Art. National Dance Company of Singapore, the Singapore Dance Theatre, calls this great home theater, and also hosts a variety ofnational and international theater, dance, music and events throughout the year
In art is the Annual Art Festival Singapore. With a lineup of music and theatrical performances, the festival also features a variety of special art installations and museum exhibitions that offer both national and international artists. The festival takes place from mid-May to early June, and has been a major playerin the development of Singapore's art scene.
Singapore has a thriving culture of popular music which is based on Chinese traditions, Malay, Indian, and Tamil. The state of the nation as a vibrant world center also has led to urban music scene dynamics, with artists and bands plugging in international rock, punk, and jazz scenes. The Annual Music Festival Mosaic and other music-centered, eventson the Esplanade, in particular, are known to provide a great platform for local music.

FOOD
Dining, along with shopping, is said to be the country's national pastime. The diversity of food is touted as a reason to visit the country, The "national fruit" of Singapore is the durian .In popular culture, food has mescals with Chinese, Indian, and Malay food Clearly defined.
SPORT AND TRANSPORTPopular sports include football, basketball, cricket, swimming, sailing, table tennis and badminton. Most Singaporeans live in public residential areas near amenities such as public swimming pools, outdoor basketball courts and indoor sport complexes. Water sports are popular, including sailing, kayaking and water skiing. Scuba diving is another popular recreational sport. The Southern island ofPulau Hantu, particularly, is known for its rich coral reefs.
Since Singapore is a small island with a high population density, the number of private cars on the road is restricted so as to curb pollution and congestion. Car buyers must pay for duties one-and-a-half times the vehicle's market value and bid for a Singaporean Certificate of Entitlement (COE), which allows the car to run on theroad for a decade. The cost of the Singaporean certificate of entitlement alone would buy a Porsche Boxster in the United States. Car prices are generally significantly higher in Singapore than in other English-speaking countries and thus only one in 10 residents owns a car.

ORIGEN

Little is known of the early history of the island, although some Chinese writings dating from the third centuryspeak of the site now occupied Singapore, calling Pu-Luo-Chung, an uninteresting name meaning "island at the end of a peninsula ".
