INTRODUCTION
La vita e bella or in English Life is Beautiful, is an Italian movie made in 1997, directed, written, andacting by Roberto Benigni. The movie is about a carefree Jewish book keeper named Guido that in the 1930’s starts a fairy tale life by courting and marrying a lovely woman from a nearby city in Italy.Guido and his wife have a son and live happily together until the occupation of Italy by German forces. In an attempt to hold his family together and help his son survive the horrors of a JewishConcentration Camp, Guido imagines that the Holocaust is a game and that the grand prize for winning is a tank. My Personal Experience
The first time that I saw this movie was becausemy girlfriend at that time told me that this was her favorite movie, I have always been interested in movies that are in the top 100 or in any big release. Any ways, she describe to me Life isbeautiful as a romantic movie with a lot of history on it, but I never realize what kind of romantic movie she was talking about until I was watching it. I did not expect to see in the same movie the mostbeautiful action that you can see mixed with the worst.
I like this movie because it provoke a reaction on my self, it is not a movie that you see and next day you can forget about it, this moviestays in your mind and makes you think about how hard it was for that father to lie and make his son believe all that time that everything was a game. I do not like to get emotional but with thismovie is almost impossible to not cry at the end, when the son found his mother and tell her that the game was real. I think that I will never forget that scene.
All the movie was about how Guidomanipulate every single terrible moment to an other positive and not just to make his son believe on it, it was also his way to see the life, always with a way out. . I could not stop laughing the...
