Minimum system requirements

Installing Lightroom 3
Do one of the following 1. Insert the CD in your drive, and follow the on-screen instructions. If the installer does not launch automatically, double-click CD Volume: Lightroom 3\Install Lightroom 3 (Windows) or Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.pkg (MacOS) at the root level of your disk to start the installation process. 2. If you downloaded the software from the web, open the folder and double-click Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (Windows or Mac OS), and then follow the on-screen instructions. 64-bit Installation Notes Mac: Lightroom 3 is a 64-bit application by default. Lightroom 3 can be used as a 32-bit application by selecting ‘Adobe Lightroom3’ in the Application folder, choosing Get Info (CMD I) and checking the ‘Open in 32 Bit Mode’ option. Windows: The Lightroom installer contains both a 32-bit and 64-bit version of the application. By default, the 64-bit version will be installed only on Windows Vista and Windows 7 64-bit operating systems. All other operating systems will install the 32-bit version by default.

Serial Numbers1. You can find the 24-digit serial number (e.g. 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000) on the back cover of your CD holder. Online or Electronic Software Delivery(ESD) customers will find the serial number both on the receipt page from the online store, and in the e-mail
