License Request and Installation Instructions for ULM Network Licenses

Part 1 – Setting up the License Server

ULM Network Licensing
• UniSim® License Manager (ULM) worksover Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), including over VPN • Any computer on the network can be used as the Network License Server (it does not need to be a server specificationmachine)

Install the ULM License Server – 1
1. On the machine designated as the license server, insert the UniSim® Design Suite CD and click Install Products

2. Click UniSim License Manager*
*Alternatively,

you can install any of the UniSim Design Suite products on the server; this will install the ULM License Servercomponent automatically – see slides 18-21

3. Click ULM License Server

4. Follow theon-screen instructions to complete the ULM License Server installation

5. After the install is complete, launch the ULM Configuration Wizardfrom Start>Programs>Honeywell 6. Choose Standalone and click Next

7. Enter your Client Key number* from your license certificate andclick Next

8. Click Next to proceed withthe license request

9. A command window will show whilst ULM generates the license.hostID file containing the machine hardware profileHoneywell.com
