Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder is a story about the Ingalls family and their experience traveling from Wisconsin to theIndian state, Oklahoma, and how they interacted with the Indian tribes who were there.
The Ingalls family was conformed by: Charles Ingalls, Caroline Ingalls, Mary, Laura, and baby Carrie. Mr.Ingalls wanted to move from Wisconsin because it was getting too populated. He wanted to live in an open and beautiful place like a Prairie. So he told Caroline to pack all the things because they weregoing to move. After saying goodbye to their family they went to their journey. Laura and Mary were very excited about living in other place although they will never forget their old little house.
TheIngalls family traveled in wagon through the country. They saw all the beauties of nature and admired the blue sky above them. They had to camp in their way because the journey took them several weeks.The journey was full of adventures, although Laura felt they will never arrive. It was very exciting for Laura and frightening for Mary to cross the creek in their way. It was a great experience!Although they almost lose their courageous dog, Jack.
When they arrived to the prairie it seemed a beautiful place to live, it was big and there were wild animals. Pa (Mr. Ingalls) said: “Here is theplace we are going to live now, I hope you like it”.
The first nights they had to camp. That night the Ingalls family met a nice and funny man called Mr. Edwards. They ate and sang with him.

Soon asthey arrived to Wisconsin, Mr. Ingalls started to build their new house. He made the house of wood and the floor with beautiful oak wood, the chimney with stones and a mixture of thick mud. When hefinished the house it was small and beautiful. The windows were not of glass yet. The mosquitoes could get in and all got sick of malaria.
