The book talks about the adventures of the young daughters of Mr. March and Ms. March, there are four young girls Meg of sixteen years old, Jo of fifteen, Beth of thirteenand the little one Amy. They are a poor family and the history begins on Christmas day with the four girls and its mother in the house, the father is in the war and he can’t be able to stay with hisfamily for a long time. The four girls live a poor and hard life chance when the little Jo meets Laurie, the shy neighbor that lives next to her house, she meets him in a fancy party and from thatday they become best friends, the others sister hangs out with Laurie all the time and practically he becomes part of the family. Laurie it’s a guy about the age of Jo who lives with his Grandfatherand with a tutor called Mr. Brooke. Suddenly all the members of the family March and Laurie`s family become one family, they hang out all the time and have fun together. The most important fact in thishistory is when the girls go out with Laurie and his family to a picnic; in this part of the book Meg talks with Brooke and with a girl of German, the girl talks bad about Meg and Brooke kind ofdefends her, Brooke and Meg have a little talk and in brief Meg tells Brooke that she would care about him, because Brooke complains that no one cares about him, and from that point of the history Brookefalls secretly in love with Meg. The story goes well for everybody except for the father of the girls, Mr. March who gets really sick and gets hospitalized, the girls feel sad for that and they thinkthat her father could die, also Beth gets a horrible illness which puts her in bed for many days. The girl is about to die but like a miracle she recovers from the illness, that event makes the familyto appreciate more each other. The book ends on a Christmas day with all the family gathered in the house and suddenly on the front door Laurie appears with the father of the girls and Mr. Brooke,...
