A Boost in the UK demand for Manufacturing and Engineering Jobs

In a recent article from the Financial Times reported that theUK is seeing a period of growth in the number of engineering and manufacturing jobs. Manufacturing and engineering companies throughout the UK have begun a surge of hiring that has resulted in a 50%employment rise within this sector, despite the negative economy.
Many specialist recruitment firms throughout the UK have also seen a surge in the demand for manufacturing jobs and believe that thisis due to the heavy investments in projects throughout the UK and Europe. Many UK-based companies such as Rolls-Royce, JBC Construction Equipment Group, Dyson, Jaguar and Land Rover are some of themanufacturing companies planning to increase their work forces.
Ann Swan, the chief of staffing association, gave her opinion on the latest employment surge, explaining that manufacturing andengineering companies who had frozen their employment levels during the recession and need staff to keep up with the increase in demand.
A Job in Engineering and Manufacturing
Government statistics releasedat the end of May revealed a 2.1% increase in the output of UK manufacturing jobs when compared to the previous year. This positive news came as the president of the Royal Academy of Engineering, JohnParker, announced that Britain needs to encourage more people to train as professional engineers over the next five years in order to meet the expected employment demand.
