FRANCE IN GENERAL: Is a sovereign member of the European Union, with its capital in Paris, which covers a total area of 675,417 km ² and has a population of 66million inhabitants
Economy of France: France is considered a first world country by their living It is the fifth world economy in nominal terms and at European level is placed behindGermany, with a dollar GDP than the UK. In 2006 French economic growth reached 2% being the lowest in the euro zone and its unemployment rates among the most altos.8
THE CUISINE OFFRANCE: The cosine of France is considered like one of the most important of the word; we will show some typical dishes from their culture
IMPORTANT PERSON OF FRANCE:
Claude Monet: isundoubtedly one of the most famous french artists of all, and claimed to be the founder of Impressionism.
Monet was born in Paris but moved to Normandy with his family in 1845. He spenthis later years in Normandy but also spent time in London and Holland.
In 1890 Monet purchased his home in Giverny where he spent the remaining years of his life.
Monet wasparticularly interested in the effect of light and would paint the same scene in different lighting conditions or times of the day. For example, he painted around 20 versions of the RouenCathedral from dawn....
Daft Punk: Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo that was born in 1993 and consists of the French musicians Thomas Bangalter (born in 1975) and Guy-Manuel deHomem-Christo (born in 1974). The group has a style that mixes electronic music with rock, funk, techno and synth, and has played an important role in the house movement in France,especially since the late 1990s. Some of their most popular songs are “Around the world”, “Da Funk”, “One more time”, “Human after all”, “Harder better faster stronger” and “Aerodynamic”.
