A renaissance man was a man who excelled in many fields and they should be well educated. He should be a skilled rider, wrestler and swordsman.
A renaissance woman should know the classics. They were expected to inspire art but rarely create it.

Cities offered wealth, talent and new ideas.

Because they had many pieces of art like portraits and they were important

The middle ages were more focused on spiritual and religious things and the Renaissancewas more focused on world and real life.

when the printer start coming out they had the chance to print the books fasterand do things faster with the printer.

By writing books that he liked that are very famous so the people can buy them.

The humanism begin

5. Why was the invention of the printing press so important?
Because books could now be made cheaper and fasterthan we have today

6. How were the works of German painters different from those of the Flemish painters? Give examples.
Flemish focused on both, humanism and religion

7. What reasons did humanists give for wanting to reform society? Explain.
They said that they should believe only on facts that are true.

8. How did the availability of cheap books spread learning?
Many people could buybooks on that time because they were to cheap for the people.

1.- What are idioms?  
A= is an expression, word, or phrase that has a figurative meaning or the associative orconnotative meaning.

1.-Rain check: a piece of paper allowing one to see an event which has been canceled at a later time.
We all had done a rain check, because the party has been cancelled.

2.- Early birds catch the worm: If you wake up and get to work early, you will succeed.
I went to school at 7:00 A.M. because of early birds catch the worm to get better grades.
