Lost

Scene 1
Jack wakes up in the middle of an island. He’s confused and seconds later realizes that he has a huge wound on his chest. He stands up with difficulty and starts to walk around the beach. Minutes after he faints, because of the pain from his wound.
Scene 2
The rest of the survivors are waking up away from Jack. Samantha looks around searching for her husband, and finds out that there’sa kind of body meters away. She approaches to it and gets paralyzed.
Samantha: (Screaming) ¡AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Everybody runs to see what’s wrong with the woman. The soldier starts to look around the suitcases that fell from the plane.
The Priest: What’s going on here?
Samantha: (Crying) He’s dying!
George: Well, I’m a doctor… I can help but I need my stuff… if I could only find mysuitcase…
The Soldier: Look! I found a bottle of alcohol! (Hands it to George and goes near Samantha, to calm her down)
George: Nice, it might work… (Starts healing Jack with the alcohol and rips off some pieces of cloth, making bandages)
The priest: Let’s pray brothers, pray for his recuperation. Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name…
(Everybody starts to pray with the priest, while Georgefinishes healing the wound. Meanwhile appears a scene with Gupta searching for food on the jungle)
George: Ok, he needs some rest now. He’ll be fine.
Samantha: Thank you! Thank you so much! (hugs him) But… who are you?
George: My name is George. I bet he’s the pilot of the plane and you are his wife… am I right?
Samantha: Yes, yes you are… where were you all travelling?
George: To India. I’mlearning alternative medicines.
The Priest: I was on my way to the Vatican, to meet some other brothers… and you… what’s your name sister! (To Samantha)
Samantha: Oh right, I’m Samantha. We were on our way to our honeymoon, but the plane crashed… who knows why…
The Soldier: (Is meters away and screams) Is anybody else harmed? I found some newspapers! (Throws them in the air)
Everyone:NOOOOOO!
The Soldier: But they can be helpful as band aids! Or something!
The Priest: What are you doing! We have to save the newspapers!
Samantha: Yes, but don’t throw them… What’s your name?
The Soldier: My name? Uh… I can’t remember…
George: Interesting. And where were you going?
The Soldier: … I don’t know.
Samantha: Well, later we’ll name you. But she’s right, is anybody really harmed?
ThePriest: I only have some scars… nothing serious.
George: Yeah, me neither. But you Mrs., you are pregnant. Are you fine?
Samantha: Yes. I’m a little dizzy, that’s it
George: Seems like the only one that’s harmed is our soldier here… she’s lost her mind.
The Priest: How bad, I’m going to pray for her.
Samantha: Guys… there’s a shape on the sand… like there’s someone else… apart from us
(Thescene ends with the scared faces of the survivors)
Scene 3
Gupta is coming out from the jungle of the island. His hands and pockets are filled with fruits and some nutritive insects. He reaches the group to say hi, but they are a little bit scared.
Gupta: Thank god you’re alive! I brought some things we can call food… there’s no animals in the island.
The Soldier: Yes! Food! I’m starving!(Tries to take an apple)
Samantha: Stop! (Hits the hand of The Soldier) Who are you?
Gupta: I was lying on the sand with you guys… I only woke up earlier than you and I went to pick up something to eat!
Samantha: How can you be so inconsiderate… we… we almost died here! And you went by yourself without caring about us! Monster!

Scene 4
Everyone’s sitting around the fire. The priest is tryingto tune up the guitar. Jack and Samantha are embraced looking the horizon. George and Gupta are looking at the fire, thinking in god knows what.
Jack: How bad…I was thinking, when we were traveling, that this will be the very best trip on my life, as you must know, I was the pilot of the airplane and I had planned, take my holidays on Italy, you know, travel around Europe with my wife, I’m...
