* Cultural Tourism
As one of the most important point concerning art, there are several museums specialized in classic andcontemporary art. In fact there are more than 50 museums in Holland.
So the cultural offer is amazing, we can find The Van Gogh Museum, where are showed many of the paintings ofthis artist.
The Rijksmuseum has a wonderful collection of local art, where we can appreciate paintings of Degas, Hals, Rembrandt and Vermeer among others.
But notonly paintings are important, plenty of architectural works are visited by tourist, some of them are the Sint-Janskathedraal (San Juan’s cathedral), the Het Vredespaleis(Peace Palace) and the Rietveld-Schröder house.
* Natural Tourism
In Holland are located several awesome natural places where you can enjoy of wonderful landscapes andnatural sightseeing.
There are several natural places situated in the different national parks and other touristic places like the Wadden area, a particular place wherethe high tide and the low tide are alternated constantly.
Flowers are a tourist icon due to the activities related with them, above all floral events such as theWestfriese Flora, the biggest floral covered spectacle of the world.
* Sexual and Drug Tourism
These are, undoubtedly, the most controversial kinds of tourism of Holland,but also the most famous.
In Amsterdam, the Red District is the indicated place for developing these sorts of tourism. All along of this quarter, there are many of coffeeshops where to taste cannabis and other legal substances.
Prostitution is allowed, and in every street there are brothels with exposed girls in the shop windows.
