LOW SELF-ESTEEM AND SELF IMAGE
A person's self-image is the mental picture, generally that is quite resistant to change, that depicts not only details that are potentially available to objectiveinvestigation by others like height, weight, hair color, gender, etc. but also items that have been learned by that person about himself or herself, either from personal experiences orby internalizing the judgments of others. A simple definition of a person's self-image is their answer to the question is:
"What do I believe people think about me?"
Am I skinny? • Am I fat? • Am I attractive? • AmI weak? • Am I strong? • Am I intelligent? • Am I stupid? • Am I a good person? • Am I a bad person? • Am I likable?
Self-image may consist of three types:
1. Self-image resulting from how theindividual sees himself or herself.
2. Self-image resulting from how others see the individual.
3. Self-image resulting from how the individual perceives others see him or her.

And now… Lowself-esteem other fact associated with many mental and health problems. They can feed off each other in a vicious circle; the more depressed or anxious you become the lower your opinion of yourself andyour abilities gets, and the more you avoid activities that could help to build-up esteem and address depression or anxiety. Even if you don’t have a mental health diagnosis, you will recognize theimpact that your view of yourself has on your mood and nerves.
Low self esteem and can be debilitating. It’s always associated with feelings of depression. Or it may mean not thinking very highly ofyourself, doubting your ability to get the things the way you want or not attracting the sort of people that interest you. 
Low self esteem can be soul destroying and very costly if it limits you toplaying it safe or causes you to avoid doing things that you would normally enjoy doing.
