Chinese literarure:

China's literary tradition is not the oldest in the world. It is surpassed in thousands of years by the literary traditions of the Near East and Egypt. But we can say that isthe tradition that can boast greater continuity throughout history. The earliest literary evidence, or at least considered literary in China, are the inscriptions found on tortoise shells used to guessduring the Shang Dynasty and the prayers recorded in the bronze sacrificial same dynasty. In these inscriptions and Chinese characters are primitive, with its varieties and developments will stillbe used until today.
The Chinese literature includes an astonishing variety of genres, many of which are not usually considered literary works in the West.
