Hi.
My name is Daniel de Urquiza.
I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m 28, married, and a lawyer.
My interest is card magic. I’ve been perfoming it, thinking about it, and writing my ideas for 9 years and a half.
In this manuscriptyou’ll find my most recent ideas on card magic.
You have everything: from isolated ideas to audience tested routines.

It’s a mere recopilation of articles published by me at several paper and electronicmagazines, like Club 71 (www.repromagic.co.uk), Top Hat (www.magicbunny.co.uk), Online Visions (www.online-visions.com), etc.
There is one advantage: I have added in here sugestions, answers, ideas, that I have come up with later, after the publication. So there are differences. Also, I’ve thrown some effects published at forums, or that have circulated on the underground, but that haven’t seenthe day light...until now.

What is this, and, most important, why do I do this?
Well, actually, it’s quite simple. My goal is to create an underground, free source of card magic, built by the entire magical community. I guessed that someone has to start it, some one has to make the effort to give something away. So I’m doing it.
How does this work? You receive this document, a .doc file. Youread it. From there, 2 choices: you cand add to your own file your own pet routines and techniques. Or you can mail them to me. I will include them in further releases of this document, duly credited. It should be your best material. And it should be YOURS. No violation of intellectual property rights here.
If you added your own routines and ideas, well, simply share the new file with a fellowmagician. This is another essential condition to this project: let’s no make this document another instrument of exposure. Only share it with someone you can absolutely trust.
This new fellow magician has the same options: send to me his/her routines, to be published on a new “official” release, or add them to the file and make it circulate.
Very soon, you will be receiving a) a new release ofthis document, by me, or b) a new version of the file, with added routines and ideas.
In time, I’m more than shure that this document will be a top-nocht source of routines, created among the whole comunnity of card magicians, completely free, guarded as a valuable treasure for every reader.
To add your routines, don’t forget to modify the INDEX. Feel free to create new categories, like “Theory”,“Essays”, etc. Also, please, be honest: if someone add a routine, and puts his/her name to it, don’t go replacing it by yours. It’s no funny, it’s not right, and sooner or later, your gonna get caught, and burned in public. By ME, or by the real author.
Don’t change this foreword, so new readers can understand this file.
