Integrating Project
Objective: Develop a research activity in order to apply previous knowledge of measures of central tendency.
General instructions
* The project is part of thefinal grade
* You must use ARIAL 12 and 1.5 space and 2 cm of margin
* It must include a cover page, introduction, body and conclusion. Use your book and ANOTHER ONE in order to get informationabout the measures of central tendency (when you add those books in the bibliography make sure you name them in MLA format)
* You must work in teams of three (3). All the team members must work inevery single part of the project.
* The teacher will clarify any doubts but the team must be responsible enough to research the information required to develop the project
* The report mustinclude the steps you followed in order to obtain information and you must justify your answers.
* You are going to hand it the project by Blackboard. Your teacher is going to explain you in whichfolder you are going to include the project

Activities
The students are going to gather information about any of those topics:
* Daily temperatures in Monterrey (maximum or minimums) for thelast two months
* The money designated for sports in each province of Mexico
* The height of students in Prepa Tec Valle Alto
* The time (in hours) that a student spends per day ininternet or using any gadget (blackberry, ipod, ipad, etc)
* The project must include at least 60 elements as sample space.
* You must organize the information you obtain in a frequency table. Useexcel in order to build the frequency table.
* Include graphs to represent your information ( Bar Graphs, Pie Graphs)
* Find the MEAN, MEDIA , STANDARD DEVIATION and VARIANCE SAMPLE. USE EXCELin order to obtain those answers.
* Write a conclusion where you explain what those answer means (what does the mean you obtain means? What does the media value you obtained means?.. Etc. etc.)
