A frightingflight

I have never been afraid of airplanes but that day I could feel fear growing inside me.

When I was about five and Iwas with my parents coming back from a holiday in Greece, the airplane we were flying in was hit by a lightning! I was sitting with my mom,and my father was sitting with my sister behind us. The lights went off and the air hostess started to scream at us to have our seat beltson.

The pilot calmly explained what but was going on.

I remember there was a lot of Muslims and they were all saying their prayers. Ialso remember a lady yelling that wewere all going to die and another lady stood up and smacked her across the face and said: “if we are allgoing to die we don´t want to listen to you”. I realized there was panicgoing on in the plane and when we landed the pilot came out andsaid: “you were lucky”.

It was frightening but this event didn´t change anything. I still can get on a plane without any trouble.



Ithink the text it´s not well organised at all. There are some problems with the punctuation marks, I mean some paragraphs are very long andother very short.

Perhaps you could have use more descriptive words or add new details to make the story more interesting.

The use oftenses for me is a bit mix up and not very clear.

About the register which was used it´s good, not much formal and not much informal
