6.- Normas de instalación y operación
6.1 Esquema Mexicano deNormalización
En México existen las normas oficiales mexicanas y las normas mexicanas, las primeras son de carácter obligatorio las segundas pueden servir como un apoyo a las empresas. La Ley Federal de Metrología y Normalización de México define el Sistema Mexicano de Evaluación de la Conformidad, que comprende la certificación obligatoria (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas, NOM) o voluntaria (NormasMexicanas, NMX).

Las normas mexicanas y las oficiales mexicanas son elaboradas por los organismos nacionales de normalización, a continuación se muestra un listado de estas:
