Dialing mode switch Set this switch (position 14) according to the desired dialing mode: PULSE (P) or TONE (T1 for 100 ms flash time or T2 for 250 ms or 600 ms flash time, depending on the telephone model). For more details, please see Setting the dialing mode on page 2. Key Lock In case of you have purchased the model with the key lock feature (position 17), the package will include twokeys to be used with the telephone. When locking your telephone, you disable all the keys functionalities; therefore you can avoid the use of the telephone for undesired calls. Wall-Mount installation To install the telephone on wall, use the two holes localized on underside of the telephone (position 13) to case the screws. Make the holes on the wall with a 6 mm drill bit, using the template(marks ) provided on page 12 of this manual as a reference (bushings and screws are not included). Besides, use a screwdriver to snap out the handset clip (position 18), as show in detail

Installation Handset cord Connect the long end of the handset cord in the socket marked with the symbol (position 11). Insert the cord in the cable line (position 15) and attach the short end to the handset. Linecord Connect the line cord in the socket marked (position 12). Insert the with the symbol cord in the cable line (position 16), to up or down direction, according to the telephone position. Attach the other end to the

Setting the dialing mode (tone/pulse) Your telephone must beprogrammed for TONE dialing or PULSE dialing, according to the telephone line it is connected to. The default factory setting is the TONE dialing mode with the T2 flash time option. Checking the dialing mode: Press any numeric key. If you can still hear a dialing tone, change to the other dialing mode. Switching the dialing mode: The switch located on the bottom of the telephone allows you to dothree settings: P PULSE T1 TONE flash 100 ms T2 TONE flash 250 ms or 600 ms (*)

Recommendations for Installation Please, observe the following guidelines: • For your own safety and protection, do not uses the telephone in places with overheat or extreme humidity. The telephone operates at temperatures between +5ºC and +55ºC and it is not water-proof. • Varnished or lacquered furnituremay be marked by some parts of the telephone such as the rubber feet. • Place the telephone at least one meter away from devices such as cordless

Temporary changeover of dialing mode: While the telephone is set to PULSE dialing it may be necessary to temporarily change the dialing mode to TONE dialing. • Example: You wish to check yourbanking balance using the telebank service. Make the call as you usually would and, as soon as the call is ; at this moment your complete, press telephone dialing mode will change to TONE dialing. When you finished the
