Loading Files Into Modulate

here are THREE ways toload files into Modulate.  
Open an existing Modulate file, import CAD/CAM files or paste patterns from OptiTex PDS software. Follow this introduction to become familiar with these options.
   
1. Open an Existing Modulate File

1. From the FILE menu, select OPEN.
2. From the open dialog box locate the desired file in the directory.
(E.g. c:\ OptiTex8\Examples\Dress.cus)
CUS isthe OptiTex extension for a Modulate file. |
3. Click the OPEN button.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2. Import File from Other Cad Systems
OptiTex Modulate enables importing data from other cad systems into the Modulate software. After importing a file it can be modified and saved as regular Modulate file.

1.      From the FILE menu select IMPORT CAD/CAM.

Clickthe browse button to locate file. |

For details on the SETUP options and the BOX button refer to the files in the HELP menu. |
When the Import dialog box appears on the screen select the type of file that is to be imported.

1.      Click on the BROWSE button and locate the path and the file name of the file to be imported. If you are importing data from a diskette, browse todrive A and then select the file.
 2.      After locating the file and the path click on the OPEN button.
 3.      Click O.K.
 
Note: for more details on the import dialog box check the import topic at the help menu.
3. Paste Patterns from OptiTex PDS Software
 Modulate is compatible with the other existing OptiTex programs.
Any piece copied to the Windows clipboard canbe pasted into a Modulate document.
The drag and drop option will also work. Any Modulate design object can be dragged into the PDS window.

1. Abrir un archivo existente Módulo 

1. Desde el menú Archivo, seleccione ABRIR. 

2. En el cuadro de diálogo Abrir, busque el archivo deseado en el directorio. 
(Por ejemplo, c: \ OptiTex8 \ Ejemplos \ Dress.cus) 

CUS es la extensión de un archivo OptiTex Módulo.
