1. INSTALLING AND LAUNCHING THE GAME
1.1 Installation Installing a DVD-ROM is easy to do. The instructions below will enable you to install the game in no time. Insert the DVD-ROM in the player. The launch window should appear. Click on Install, then follow the on-screen instructions. If no window appears, double click on My Computer, then double click on your DVD-ROM player andfinally double click on Setup.Now.exe. Click on Install and follow the on-screen instructions. Click on the Close button as soon as Installation is complete. Once finished, the installation program may tell you to reboot your computer. If this is the case, you will not be able to play the game unless you reboot your computer.

1.2 Launching the game Place the game DVD-ROM in the drive and thelaunch window will appear. Click on Play and get ready for the big adventure. If no window appears, in the Windows Task Bar, click on the Start button then on the Safari Adventures button in the Programs/Blast! Entertainment Ltd /Safari Adventures/ (or the corresponding folder if you renamed the installation location). Or double click on the short-cut icon on your desktop.

1.2 Launch Window :This window is shaded out if the game is not installed. If the button is white, you can launch the game. Install / Uninstall the game. Watch out! When you uninstall the game, you lose your saved games. Game manual you are now reading* Exit game

* Requires the Acrobat Reader software. If it is not installed on your computer, the game will ask you to install it. Follow the on-screen instructionsand at the end of installation, you will be able to read the manual.

2. HOW THE GAME WORKS
2.1 What's the story? Welcome to Africa and all its magic - the lion, Sahara desert, the jungle. You will be able to walk around the plains, mountains and forests of Africa to help the endangered species. Select your character - either Alex or Emma - then let the adventure commence. Throughout yourjourney around Africa, you will meet a whole host of animals who will become your friends. Unfortunately you will also meet meanies like Mr Mank or selfish oafs like Mr Rashburn. Fortunately the ranger is there to help you understand Africa and take your first steps around the huge continent. Now, you are ready. Take your camera and set out to save the animals. 2.2 First part
