Martha And Zebra

They will do everything for what they want. In “Zebra” by, Chaim Potok, Zebra was a young boy who loved to run, it was one of his favorite things to do. One day in an accident we had a problem withhis leg and he couldn’t continue running so he started to draw. In “The Scholarship Jacket” by Marta Salinas, Martha was a very intelligent girl that wants the scholarship jacket that was for the bestgrades in the class. These two characters have almost the same age, they are young children that really know what they want for live, and they will make everything for having them. Zebra and Marthaare very different guys however they have some similarities and some differences on their lives; this is because they have different points of view and different lives.
In “Zebra”, zebra was a guy wholoved running very fast, but one day he had a terrible accident in which he broke her leg, so he couldn’t continue running. In his school they started a class of art during summer. He decide to enterto this class for seeing if he could be good at something else than running. At the begging he saw he couldn’t do anything but at the time passes he start looking that if he really make the thingsthe better he could he will have excellent things. In “The Scholarship Jacket”, Martha Wanted to have that jacket because she knew she deserve it, for a moment she thought that the jacket was not hersbecause they were asking she for some money for having this jacket, but at the end of the story she had the jacket in a very faithful way. These two characters have many things in common like theyboth a very complicated time for what they wanted, Martha’s problem was that she need some money that they were asking for giving her the jacket because she was of a poor family. Zebra’s problem was theaccident he had in her leg that stops him of practicing what he really like to do.
