If you’re not familiar with releasing tracks, please read carefully the followinglines to make the things easier for all of us. - Mastering, what do we do ? : Intellinoise studio manages the “pre-mastering” of your work. (commonly called “mastering”) It's the last step before yourtrack is going to be pressed on cd. It can be also useful if your track is not going to be released, to be for example used for your live sets, dj sets or a promo cd. Our job is to give a good punch toyour track and a standard volume which is comparable to released material you find on the market. Please note that you’re the owner of your track, the mix is also yours. We don't accept tracks providedwith separated channels to work on your mix. The best result we can get with the best source. Don’t expect to get a wonderful mastered track if you deliver us a moody mix. Mastering isn’t a cleaningprocess. - Track format : Please provide us your final mixdown in “wav” or “aiff” format, “24 bit, 44.1kHz”. “32 bit” depth resolution and “88.2kHz” sample rate resolution are also welcome. “16 bit”works but isn't optimal. Please note that 48kHz and 96kHz sample rates are video/dvd standards. It is not recommended to be used for audio productions going to be released on cd. Converting 48kHz or96kHz to 44.1kHz may generate distortion and numerical errors (Jitter). Lower resolutions and bit rates are not accepted. - Compressor / Limiter / Normalization / Final mixdown : This is a veryimportant thing: remove any compressor or limiter you have add on the master channel of your project. Your mix level has to stay under 0db at any time! The best is to let even a little margin to avoid digitaldistortion. Try to not be too low either, especially if you use hardware material because the noise you recorded will be increased as well during the mastering process. If the final mix you provide...
