Primavera or also know as Allegory of spring is one of a series of mythological works executed by Botticelli after his return from Rome in1482. The origin of the painting is somewhat unclear. The painting was commissioned by Lorenzo de' Medic i.This picture celebrates the arrival of spring and is filled with mythological symbolism. Venus,Goddess of Love, is in the centre of an orange grove on her left Flora, Goddess of Flowers and Spring, appears clad in garlands of flowers.

Name isPrimavera or also know as Allegory of spring .
2.- who is the author and why is he or she important?
The author was Sandro Botticelli he made many important painting like the birth of Venus , Venus andMars , etc .He made a unique style Making paintings in scenes .
3.-how des it look? describe it in detail : colors texture

It look dark with a small portion of colors that at the same timegive it a happy image. It is made with tempera on panel .the dimension is 203 cm × 314 cm . The painting features six female figures and two male, along with a blindfolded putto, in an orange grove.4.- why is it consider a masterpiece??
It is a master piece because it is part of scenes based on historical accounts of mythology.
5.- where is this masterpiece today?
know it is in Uffizi,Florence.
6.-do you like it or not? why?

Yes, I like it because it have a mystery pat that is difficult to understand but at the same time have a part that is colorful and shine part that make itbeautiful

In renaissance period the humanity evolved perhaps it did not as know but it was the start. The most important part of this evolution is art because it leaves a mark on history and they useit in many aspects of the life like in religion, decoration, representation ,etc . and also leave a strong impact in today’s art ,culture .
