*Mixed Numbers and Improper fractions

Write 623 as an improper fraction.

* Multiply the whole number by the denominator. (6 x 3 thirds is 18 thirds)

623= 6 x 3+23 Add the numerator. (There are 2 more thirds.)

* Least Common Multiple (LCM)

Multiples of 12: 12, 24, 36, 48, ….

The least common multiple (LCM) of 8 and 12 is 24.
