1. The historical facts that we can find in the sixties which are relevant to may 68 are the Vietnam war and the liberalization of the desires of the people because in the Vietnam war started a kind of a revolution taken by thoses who didn’t want to go to the war, and that kind of revolution was about doing manifestations, and may 68 took that idea of revolution from them. Then wecan see the liberation of the desires, because the people were more open to talk and manifestate them, so if someone didn’t agree with someone, they knew that they could do something.

2. La familia poco a poco fue banalizando la muerte; al comienzo podemos ver como al hijo que vivía con ella y a la mucama les importaba, pero luego cuando llega toda la familia podemos ver que, al no tenerrelación no les era algo sumamente importante, por lo cual los podíamos ver más interesado en lo que pasaba a su alrededor como en ese caso la revolución de mayo del 86, como por ejemplo el hijo que era periodista que aunque estaba al lado de la tumba de la madre, estaba interesado en escuchar la radio y cubrir el hecho periodístico. Esto se relaciona con la frase porque la familia termina reprimiendoel hecho de que la mujer murió y se concentra en todas las otras cosas. Llega un punto en la película en que a nadie le importa ya la mujer muerte, sino que, les importa más la herencia o las manifestaciones. En cuanto al sexo, se conecta a la frase ya que dice que es un tabú del cual nadie habla y está escondido, pero en la película podemos ver como la familia comienza una liberación de estostabúes, por ejemplo cuando la mujer queda semi-desnuda en el comedor o cuando la nieta pequeña encuentra a una de las chicas atadas a la cama y preguntas sobre que había pasado.



3. The relationship between adults and kids is kind of weird, because even the adult has an adolescent behavior so; they are very irresponsible with them. Even if, they are with the kids, they ignore them, don’tanswer exactly their questions. One example of this is when Francis asks about why the girl is tied to the bed, and instead of answering the true or inventing a convective lie (because maybe she was too little to know what was happening) her grandfather tells her that she is tied in case she fells of the bed.

4. Esta frase explica lo que pasa también en la película; mientras que duro larevolución todos fueron revolucionarios y defendieron la causa, siguieron sus impulsos, se unieron con sus pensamientos y sentimientos, pero apenas vieron el vestigio del final de la revolución, automáticamente regreso todo al orden natural en el que se encontraba. En la frase lo representa cuando dice “Y entonces, el orden estaba establecido, el superyo restaurado, y de nuevo las ulceras, lasmigrañas, los eructos, las constipaciones volvieron a las salas de espera de los doctores”, mientras que en la película se puede ver en como aunque todos habían estado con sus amantes y traicionado a sus respectivas parejas, todos vuelven con ellas (exepto la chica que estaba con otra chica y decide irse con el señor) y por lo cual todo sigue igual, y la basura de todos los días se vuelve a continuaracumulando, hasta el punto en que seguramente todo explote de nuevo al igual que ya había pasado.

5. We can find a lot of political positions into the family, but we will represent them into three groups, Camille`s position, The Journalist`s position and the son`s position. From the first one, we can say that she has a right thought, because she say that the revolution is not good; that it ispointless because everyone acts like a take care child in this revolution and the violence is an unneeded tool, so she disagrees with what was happening. She feels like it because she has a great life and she never needed anything, so maybe she didn’t realized why everyone was asking for.
