The riskfactors are obesity, age, biochemical and mechanical factors. As gonarthrosis is a degenerative condition with loss of tissue and cell death (chondrocytes), is located to the right of the DiseaseEvolution Table (DET) homotoxicological, phase of degeneration (5 th). The therapeutic approach is based on gonarthrosis using the strategies of the 3 pillars of antihomotoxic treatment. OBJECTIVE. Todetermine the efficacy of therapy homotoxicological in controlling symptoms in women from 55 to 75 years old with grade I and II knee osteoarthritis in Mexico City. METHOD. We selected 7 patients weretreated with homotoxicological treatment were used rating scales WOMAC, SF 36, and EVA. RESULTS. 7 female patients with mean age of 63.57 from September 13th to October 15th 2010. Improvement in EVA painintensity in patients treated with Homotoxicology in the 1st session was 8.86 and the 10th session of 3.29 points on average, WOMAC scale at baseline, 48% had mild impairment, 34 % discreet, 11%severe, 3% and 4% end any damage and at the end, 57% had a discrete impairment, 37% none, 6% moderate. In the corrected WOMAC scale can be improved in the assessment of pain by an average score on averageat the beginning of 10.14, half the treatment 6.14 and at the end of treatment 3.14 (a total score of 20 points), in the valuation of the average stiffness score at baseline was 5.00, half of...
