Clean Air Day
The Day for Clean Air (DPAL) above Car Free Day is an indicative of Greater Bogota mayoralty supported by the citizenry. It checks the behavior of theConcentrations of major air pollutants Associated with vehicular traffic.
Contaminants analyzed are:
* Ozone
* Carbon monoxide
* Sulfur dioxide
* Nitrogen dioxideAt day operational intensify control of vehicular gas emissions peak and control plaque and sound pressure measurements and major highways.
The most important environmentalbenefit of the day is the reduction of pollutants associated with private cars shall also be expected in the reduction of PM with the great reduction of ACPM-diesel.
Duringthe day is expected to decrease in the concentration levels of major pollutants in O3 and CO besides reducing noise in lighter traffic infrastructure.
