Memories of a soldier
-This is a story that narrates the experiences of three brave soldiers that gave their lives in battle.
- The events occurred the twenty-third of April of 2005 inAfghanistan, where three Venezuelans were giving service to the North Americans. That same day we were called to patrol the dangerous streets of the city as the usual routine.
Angelo: today is anotherhard-working day for me, everyday I’m called to battle I get goose bumps with just the idea of dying.
Alberth: I’m exhausted with this routine of this damn American military I want to go home.Harus: it’s very strange that the armored car has stopped; I’ll go see what happened.
Harus: we’re being attacked; we’ve got some serious problems.
Angelo: shoot, they killed the driver, which wouldput us in a hostile zone.
Alberth: ill cover the area, you guys go look for reinforcements.
At fifteen hundred an attack to the Alpha Battalion was reported.
We were backed up against thewall by two terrorists of high infamy; their names were Carlos Minch and Luis Zagreb.
Carlos: I’ll try to intercept them sending them a group of my men”
Luis: Carlos I think it’s better if wewaited until they came out the armored cars, that way they’ll have no shield to our attacks.
- Hours later some new shootings were reported, the Venezuelan soldiers had already gone out in action.Carlos: now is the moment to attack, Luis! Give the order to our men.
Luis: let’s go move, kill those gringos!
- Intense hours passed at the battle, in the end the brave Venezuelan soldiersfinished off all the men of the command terrorists which made Carlos Minch and luis Zagreb go to the battle. It was bad news to the Alpha battalion because them two were professional killers.
Angelo:come on over cowards! We're not scared of you...
Harus: Alberth cover my left side.
Alberth: ok I want to fill these stupid Arabs with bullets already.
Luis: Carlos I need more bullets,...
