ESSAY PART
ACTIVITY 6
Find a song you think would be appropriate for students at or around the intermediate level. Design four different activities that you as a teacher could do using the song; please, include the song and detailed explanation for each activity. Please, create your own activities.
For this activity I have chosen “Angie” by The Rolling Stonesbecause I considered that this song can be used for intermediate level. And also, because is popular among teenagers.

FIRST ACTIVITY
The first activity that Iwill apply would be using this song to students practice listening, reading, and speaking. Indeed, I am almost sure that students like this kind of music and this kind of activities. Beside, music will help them to relax.
First I will bring this song in a karaoke CD to the class. Then I will do a lottery with color papers to avoid mistakes which will be written from 1 to 4 according with thenumber song paragraph. Indeed, if I have 12 students I will have to use three different colors (yellow, blue, and red). This means they are going to participate according with the color and paragraph number. This can be useful for teachers in long class because they are showed even-handed. Also, if in a long class students would not had had the opportunity to participate I can lend them the CD ore-mail the link of the song. Because I know that in long class 45 min might not be enough.

SECONDACTYVITY In this activity I am going to use this song for a comprehension exercise.First teacher will deliver some words for vocabulary which might cause comprehension problems. This way teacher will make sure students understand the song. Second the teacher plays the song (sometimes it could be necessary more than one time).
