Course Description:
This course aims to allow the students to build on their knowledge of the basic principles of teaching and learning of English as a second language. These principles are not onlylimited to current approaches to teaching but they also include guidelines for how to become a successful teacher even in your first year. It will arm the teachers-to-be with valuable informationthat will permit a complete control of their class. Learning how to organize thoughts and how to manage time is a must. The course will also take an innovative step towards creating "Creators of Classes”and not simply teachers. Making use of a current corpus to create materials and to be able to question the validity of the multiple activities already provided to the language teachers on the web.Course Objectives:

By the end of this course you should be able to be your own boss and be your own creator of a class worthy of your and your students’ time and effort. You will also
▪ Beaware of your believes about language and language instruction.
▪ Pay more attention to your attitudes about teaching and learning.
▪ Understand that human languages are fundamentally similar inmany ways.
▪ See how diverse human languages are.
▪ Learn how to deal with the mysteries of human nature (student nature)
▪ Learn survival techniques for when things get complecated.Specific Objectives:
