When we were born, we start setting up our lives in that environment in where we grew up, studying, and work. We construct a live thinking about the future alongside our family. But inmany cases we decided that a better future is abroad, better said, away from home. That´s why too many people prefer to get new chances in other countries which are more development, hence, moreattractive to live.
For example, this type of situation happened to a Mexican woman named Flor, who has a daughter Cristina. She is a single mother because the father of Cristina left them, and Flor did nothave enough money to give her daughter a better life. When Flor was looking at her husband`s picture she was really sad and she didn’t want her daughter to know that she was suffering, so she wentoutside and cried but Cristina did realize what was going.
So, Flor decides to move to the United States with Cristina. Flor`s cousin lives there, she helps Flor to find an apartment and a job on herown. One day, Flor had an interview in a house, it was so big that she was surprised and she didn`t feel intimidated. The interview was in the backyard, she was interviewed by family Clasky. Flor`scousin starts the interview by telling Deborah who is the lady of the house that Flor just came from the united states and is living in an apartment . Deborah understands that Flor doesn’t speak Englishvery well so she is ok with her cousin translating. Deborah talks about her family; she has a husband John Clasky who is a chef and their kids Bernie and George, she also lives with her mother. It tookDeborah a long time to learn Flor`s name but at the end of the interview she got it right. Deborah immediately feels that Flor understands and told her how she would like to be paid because if sheasks for too much she would be taking advantage but if she asks for a little amount it means she doesn’t value herself enough. Flor`s cousin said the right amount of money, which made Deborah so happy...
