“Mona Lisa and Mona Loca”

Lisa Gherardini, everybody knows her as a “Mona Lisa”, one of the mostfamous paintings from Leonardo Da Vinci. As everybody knows “Mona Lisa” is a mystery because there are people that say it is self-portrait of Leonardo da Vinci himself in a woman form. Other people sayshe was pregnant at the moment of the portrait; however, when I saw the “Mona Loca” or “Wynwood’s Finest” by ABSTRAK at the design district in Florida, I thought it was a really interesting replica of“Mona Lisa” but with another viewer’s perspective, it might be seen as an interesting piece of art.
The Mona Lisa and The Mona Loca are both similar in their physical gestures. In both paintings, bothwomen are sitting down in a position, which is quite similar. The Mona Lisa’s painting, the gestures of her body are shown only up to her hands. In comparison to Mona Lisa’s painting, in the otherpainting the body of “Mona Loca” shown completely. The “Mona Lisa” is a painting about a normal person and the “Mona Loca” is more of an exotic painting. The way Leonardo Da Vinci thinks is different tothe way ABSTRAK thinks. One difference about both paintings is their physical features and hand figures are all the same but one difference is their smile. The “Mona Lisa” and the “Mona Loca” arepaintings about two women who are greatly appreciated and both are identical in their own ways. The “Mona Lisa” is a painting of a very feminist figure.

The smile of the "Mona Lisa" is a mystery,because Leonardo created an illusion in the painting where the smile is only seen if you look at the whole picture, but when you look at the smile straight away disappear, this is because the human eyehas a vision direct and peripheral of it. That is the reason for which the smile of the Mona Lisa is one of the biggest mysteries in that painting.
