Mitosis
I. QUESTIONS
1. Which is the meaning of mitosis?
Mitosis is the process by which a eukaryotic cell separates the chromosomes in it cell un two parts.
2. By which process is followedthe mitosis?
Mitosis is generally followed by cytokinesis.
3. What is cytokinesis process?
It divides the nuclei, cytoplasm, organelles and cell membrane in two cells containing roughly equalshares of these cellular components.
4. Do the sequence of events is divided?
Yes, it is divided in to parts.
5. Which stages are they?
They are prophase, promethafase, metaphase, anaphase andtelophase.
II. DECLARATIONS TRUE OR FALSE.
1 .Mitosis occurs exclusively in eukaryotic cells…………………………………………………………..T.
2. It can’t occur in different species…………………………………………………………………………... F.
3.Cytokinesis and mitosis do the same things……………………………………………………………...F.
4. Errors in mitosis can kill a cell………………………………………………………………………………………T.
5. Mitosis isn’t a naturalprocess………………………………………………………………………………………F.
III. EXPLANATION.
Mitosis, do you know something about mitosis? Well, what I read about mitosis was a very important and interesting article that explains very well about this process named “mitosis” and explain too thatmitosis has stages, and if we read about mitosis we will realize that is a natural process that divide a cell in two parts. There is another process that comes before mitosis.
It said that thesequence of events in mitosis is divided in phases or stages. If mitosis process has an error it could kill a cell or maybe create mutations that may lead to cancer.
Mitosis is an exact processthat is natural and will change the life of specie in earth. I read too that mitosis only occurs in eukaryotic cells, but it will change in different species.
The mitosis process is complex andhighly regulated. All natural process is very important for life because that will change the species and that why specie will be identifying to other...
