Concepto: El grado de calor mantenido en el cuerpo por el equilibrio entre la termogénesis y la termólisis
Valoración de la temperatura corporal:
Procedimiento quese realiza para medir el grado de calor del organismo y humano, en las actividades bucal o rectal, o en región axilar o inguinal.
Objetivos:
* Valorar el estado de salud o enfermedad.
* Ayudar a establecer un diagnostico de salud.
* Conocer las oscilaciones térmicas del paciente
Principios:
* El aumento de la temperatura corporal es una respuesta a un proceso patológico.
*La temperatura corporal se afecta con la edad, clima, ejercicio, embarazo, ciclo menstrual, estado emocional y enfermedad.
Termogénesis y Termólisis:
La termogénesis es el calor producido y la termólisis es el calor perdido, podemos conceptuar ala temperatura como el grado de calor mantenido en el cuerpo por el equilibrio entre la termogénesis y la termólisis.
