INTRODUCTION


Production systems provide a simple, uniform way of handling controlflow and data management in programs which exhibit intelligent behavior. They are particularly useful for developing programs which can learn from experience, which can demonstrate adaptive behavior. In this brief introduction to the subject the concept of the production system is defined, and simple examples of production systems are presented.


Current applications of production systemtechnology are also discussed. The productive system in the company Corplàsticos s.a.s., is intermittent, that is to say the processes are not following a line path, which generates disadvantages that they present in the moment to make the plastic packings. In the following work you will found different terms that do part of the company of world class, where some of them are the classification of theproductive system, which is a CIM, CMS, FMS AND MCM between other concepts.


The knowledge of these concepts to manage in the company Corplàsticos s.a.s., to reach a vision more wide of those of a company of world class and to have the importance of the production definite as principal source of the economy of the company.


1. OBJECTIVES


1.1 GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Identify the differentproduction systems in order to do implementation proposals of these that contribute to the production process, reducing times of operations and increasing productivity.


1.2 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

•Determine the type of system that handled in the company Corplásticos s.a.s and know more about their production process.

•Describe the different organizational structures of production systems,identify the type of organization that currently has the project company and propose a type of organizational structure according to the positions of members of this.

•Conceptualize about cellular manufacturing system and flexible manufacturing system in order to generate an implementation proposal of these systems to the project company and make better its productive system.

•To recognizethe importance of the manufacturing integrated by computer and the manufacture of world class to define the concepts that perform importance in the competitive companies.

•To identify the concepts of loads of work, achieving with it the knowledge of the same one. Realize an example of method exposed in the class (Hungarian method).




2. IDENTIFY AND CLASSIFY PRODUCTION SYSTEMS BASED ON1.3 THE TRANSFORMATION LEVEL

In general, the products are classified according to two key elements; their level of physical transformation or processing and type of use or target market.
