Two men
On a late summer day, there were two men sitting at a bar. One of them was a pale white, tall, guitarist named Carl. The other was a peach skinned, brunette named Noel. They had gottentogether to relax and spend time together since Noel was visiting the city for only a week.
Noel began telling a story of when he was in the ninth grade…
“I remember my first guitar, it was a Gretsch. Iused to take my guitar everywhere. I used to play for everyone. I used to play any song that occurred to me. However, one day my friends and I decided to go to downtown Medellín after school, topurchase a bunch of school supplies the teacher had asked for the day before. As we walked to the bus stop, we noticed a man behind us the whole way there. It turned out he was also heading downtown. Thebus had finally arrived and we hopped on the bus. I hated that bus route, it would always take a longer time to get anywhere than any of the other buses, the problem was; that was the only bus thatwas heading where my friends and I were.”
Carl offered Noel a glass of coffee with a bit of Bailey’s. Noel nodded and said thank you. After a few sips, he continued…
“We had to walk about three orfive blocks to get to the store. While we were walking, we realized the same man from before was behind us. We tried to avoid him for at least six blocks. We sped up our pace, but he was just as fast aswe were.”

Carl raised his eyebrows and asked, “That’s so scary! So what did you guys do?”
“Well,” he continued, “it turns out he was leading us into a dead end. Can you believe that? And we fellfor it! We were all getting more afraid by the second and then we realized they were after my guitar. Oh God, how I used to love that guitar. The mysterious man pulled out a razor blade and put it tomy neck. He threatened to slit my throat if I wouldn’t give him my guitar. I immediately handed over my guitar in disappointment. It was kind of weird though, I thought he was going to stab me...
