Museums in Modern Life.
As the years have passed, things have marked the history of Tabasco. The existence of museums in today’s society has given us the opportunityto acknowledge the things that our ancestors did. People might have different points of view regarding museums but the question is how significant museums are in today’ssociety?
One reason people think that museums are not important in modern life is because technology is upgrading continually every day. For example, instead of goingto museums people find comfortable viewing exhibitions at home because it saves time and money. Another reason for museums not been important is because nowadays, thenew generations don’t find interesting going to museums to know what their ancestors did. An example is that most of the time when teenagers go to museums is eitherbecause they are forced to go on school trips or because they have to do research.
On the other hand, museums are important because they are like photo albums where everypicture shows an important event that has impacted our lives and those memories are shown in museums for other people to see them and remember the good times of our life.Viewing exhibitions at home is not the same as being there to experience being on a real museum. Moreover, museums are big attractions for tourists which can help thestate’s economy and at the same time other people learn from our culture.
In conclusion, I think that museums are still important in modern life because the antiques thatthey possess are valuable treasures that our ancestors have left to enrich our culture, which gives us an identity and makes us different from the rest of the people.
