DESCRIPTION
Antioquia´s Historical Museum
Founded in 1986. The museum is located in the Palace of Culture Rafael Uribe Uribe, building declared a National Monument of Cultural Interest in 1982. Listed building by resolution 000002 of March 12, 1982, issued bythe National Monuments Council.
In the room are displayed permanents photographs, texts, objects and historical documents alluding to General Rafael Uribe Uribe and of its time. Among the most notable highlights a pre-Columbian ceramics, plaster mask taken from the general's face shortly after his death, a showcase of carved wood, an autograph letter signed in the philanderers and a chair to carryguns.
In the Palace of Culture taking place many educational and cultural activities with free admission for everyone. Its collections include 309 pieces.

Philatelic Museum BANK OF THE REPUBLIC
Stamp collection REPUBLIC BANK-
The museum is part of the Cultural Department of the Bank of the Republic. It has about 28,000 domestic and international stamps issued since 1840, a significant collection in Colombianhistory major, which was released to the public since June 1977. It also displays notes and coins issued by the Bank of the Republic, donations as Kettiger’s Collection and a permanent section of a didactic nature of the history and importance of the postmark.
On the third floor are the auditorium and two art galleries for exhibitions. In the fourth, Philatelic’s Collection, the gate of the Books andEconomic Documentation Center. Devotes a section to seal’s Colombians, some kind of other philatelic study and a further sample of an international collection.
