When I hear people to talk about music I just pay attention to the subject and it is because I want to share my experience as well, personally I must say I am agree with Paul Steward whenhe stated the music has a intrinsic value and is for every one and not just for professional musicians. I have seen how when a child study music or is contact with the music, behaviors andsensitiveness is just better and better. I have the experience, I know how the music works even before to read more about the influence of the music in a human been.
Let me explain how my knowledge aboutthe marvelous effects of the music touched my life. I am original of Mexico City, I have a son, and he was born in New Jersey, US in 1995. His father and I decided to move to Mexico when he was 3and provide him a total and complete bicultural education. Rafael, my son finished 5th grade in Mexico and then we move to Texas. At that time we most provide the other part English culture andLanguage. That was very hard, even when he is American at 11 years old he did not speak fluent English. So, we start the journey and we met our now friend the music.
He started to play tuba in 2007and his just fall in love; I saw how my son was touched and inspired as the article explained the music touch the soul and emotions. It is not about if they are smarter or not, it is about to provideour child’s with that sense of wellness. However I should say my son is a brighter student, he was able to left English as a Second Language in the first year in US and is 7th grade was totally inEnglish, and he continue to manage 2 languages and he is able to read four languages, I can see the faculty on him to learn languages he learn French and Italian plus of curse Music and Spanish. I seeI my son that incredible effect of the music.
I should confess I do not expose my son to music in the earliest years. But now he is a virtuoso of Tuba and Violin, of course he plays Piano as...
