(En negro. Música de fondo. Una mujer sale de entre el público, da a luz y le ayuda SALLY. Fondo negro. Lloro de bebé.)

NIÑOS DELHOSPICIO (1º ‘D’/ OLIVER / CRIADO 1 / CRIADO 2

(EN EL HOSPICIO. Campanas. Oscuro y luz poco a poco. Se abre el telón y aparecen dos criados. Caminan hacia la puerta. Abren la puerta y los niños entran en perfecta fila y se sientan en las mesas.)
