My first car

Having a car allows you to be more indepent and have more freedom. Since I got my driver license I imagined myself driving a car, my own car. I was eighteen years old and every weekend I went to someparty and my parents had to carry me to the place or I asked one of my friends to go with him. I always wanted go to the places by myself and do a lot of things. Finally, after waiting a while mydream was realized.
One day my mother told me to review the classified ads to see the cars. This surprised me, I took the newspaper and started to see the cars. We found a dealer that offered a Mazda 3,2008, in good conditions and the price was good. Few days later we went to the dealer to see the car. The car was in good conditions as they said. My mother decided to buy the car, I could notbelieve it, I was going to have my own car. I was so happy with that. I drove my car to my house with a smile on my face. My parents gave me my first car. I remember that it was in July 2009. I liked thecar so much. It was the car that I wanted, a Mazda 3. The only bad thing was that I preferred the hatchback model and they gave me the sedan model, but I did not have problem with that anyways it was aMazda 3. Initially, I had some limits with the car, but I could go out with my friends and girlfriend. So I had the liberty to go to the places alone. It gave me more freedom.
My parents gave me thecar for one important reason. I have been accepted at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. Because of that, I would need transportation to Mayagüez since I live in San Juan. This was the mainreason that convinced my parents to buy the car. My parents were proud of me because I have been accepted at the UPRM, and they wanted it, so they decided to buy the car because I would need it a lot.I have the car that I always dreamed. I started to go to places and parties by myself. All the time I called my girlfriend to visit her at her home or go to eat ice cream with her, to see a movie...
