IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PC

1) Virus Protection: Your computer has been loaded with AVG V7.5 for non-business users. If you are a business user, government entity, or non-profitorganization then you may need to purchase a software license to be in compliance. When your AVG software needs to be updated the Icon in the system tray (Bottom right area) will change to shades of grayfrom its general (yellow/black/red/green color). If the computer is left on it will do a complete virus scan every day. If you have a continuous internet connection such as a DSL/Cable modem then thesoftware will also update on its own. It is very important to ensure that virus protection is always running on your pc, otherwise you risk your computer becoming unusable or worse.
2) SpywareProtection: Your computer has been loaded with Spybot Search and Destroy V1.4. This is a very good program for eliminating existing spyware as well as preventing new occurrences. You should manually updatethe software at least every 2 weeks. To Update: Ensure you have an internet connection established, double click on the Spybot icon on the desktop, Click on the Search for Updates button, ensurethere is a checkmark in each of the update items, click the download updates button. To Immunize: Click the Blue & White Immunize Shield on the left, then click the Green + Immunize button if there areadditional bad products to protect against. To Scan: Select the Search and Destroy Button, then click the Check for problems button. Follow the instructions on the screen to fix any problems.
3)Dial-UP Internet Service: Your system should run any available windows based internet service. It is preloaded with America Online V9.0 $23.90/ Month and Netzero $9.95/ Month.
