Summary

Chapter 1
The story starts with Sonia, she have a travel from France, where she are going to meet with her friend, Philippe. Then the narrator start to explain how Sonia Knew Philippe; last summer when she came from France with her parents, they stayed in a hotel, Montmartre hotel, when she saw a painting of a beautiful woman, while she heard a voice behind her, a men voice. Suddenlyshe saw a boy her age standing on the stairs; then they started to talk in the reception hotel, Sonia’s parents arrived and they go to visit Paris. At five o’clock they arrived and Philippe was waiting her, he said to her parents to take her waked round Montmartre where lots of famous artists lived and worked. Her parents said that they have to returned at 7:30.
Chapter 2
When they were inthe steps of the church Philippe proposed to Sonia go to a fancy dress party that the frenchs celebrates for 13th of July, the day before Bastille Day*. Then Sonia thought that she don’t have a dress, Philippe took him to a small room where in the corner there was a box inside it there were some dresses. The curious that Sonia saw it was the dress that Philippe offer her it was the same dress ofBeautiful Woman painting behind the reception’s hotel desk. When she was measuring the dress, she felt strange and she let fit. Philippe decided to take her to a shop to get some costumes. Chapter 4
In approaching the street, Philip heard the sound of a woman screaming, and then Sonia and Philip saw her, that was crying. Philip said she can explain what’s the matter, they came inside the house and the woman lit a candle, they saw that had not electricity and it was asked the date, the strange woman said it was in 1793, 16 October1793, they were surprised and Philip saw that they had traveled through time and the date they were of the French Revolution. Sonia said that there's explain the problem of the strange woman and she replied that it was a very long history.
Chapter 5
The strange woman told her story, but also revealed his name: Marguerite's Lafayette.
In the story narrated that his father was dead and in this timehis mother was in prison for treason.
Suddenly, Philip the clock rang and scared Margarite.

Chapter 7

Chapter 8
