INTRODUCTION


Company.- Nano-Tex is a leading fabric innovation company providing
nanotechnology-based textile enhancements to the apparel and commercial and
residential interiors markets. The company was founded in 1998, and is headquartered
in Oakland, Calif., with operations acrossthe United States, Asia and Europe.
In Nano-Tex are inventors who reach into the building blocks of our world to make
changes that improve our lives every day. They believe that they can make the good

molecules to improve the properties of your favorite fabrics. Their technological
breakthroughs arerevolutionizing the industry.
Technology at the “nano” level. A nanometer is one-billionth of a meter, which is the
width of about three to five atoms. They are using nanotechnology to transform the
molecular structures of fibers and create fabrics that offer performance and comfort. NT is the first company to apply nanotechnology to fabrics, and their technology sets
the industry standard.
Inthe past 50 years, no company has transformed the textile industry like they have.
Their innovations create exceptional performance in everyday items: apparel, home
furnishings, commercial interiors, and industrial fabrics. Some creations are in the

Product.- Nano-Tex has a family of textileenhancements that become inherent to the
fabric to improve the comfort, appearance and durability of everyday apparel,
residential and commercial interiors.
Nano-Tex enhancements were consciously engineered to run on industry-standard fabric
and garment production equipment, with minimal modification or capital investment
required by licensees, and can be pad applied in fabric form or can be dipped orspray
applied in garment form. This process is followed by a normal curing procedure.
“Our technologies are applied to fabric at the fabric mill during the fabric finishing
process. There is no special equipment necessary; however the mill does need to follow
our processing instructions which specific amount of chemistry to be applied as well as

Resists Spills: spill resistant fabric enhancement for many types of fibers
(cotton, synthetics, wool, silk and rayon, polypropylene) that repels a range of
liquids.

Coolest Comfort: quick-absorbing fabric enhancement providing superior
wicking properties, which pulls perspiration awayfrom the body and dries it
quickly to keep the body cool and comfortable.

Resists Static: the only permanent anti-static treatment for synthetic fabrics.

Resists Spills & Releases Stains: the market’s highest level of stain release
combined with stain repellency.
